I left the school in 2004 to go onto Wood Green School. I look back at my time at primary school in a very positive light, mainly because the word "exam" was non existent! The staff were fantastic, Mrs Kelly was the headteacher for most of my Our Lady's career and she did a brilliant job. My love of reading and modern history were both spawned in Year 4 under Mrs Quinn.

The staff and children are really nice, and you seem to build up great friendships VERY fast!

I was at OLOL from 1959 untill 1963 when i went on to Salesian College Oxford. I have many memories of the school in its early days, all of them good. I was one of the group of boys who built the grotto and in the "band" that called itself "The Beetles"(sic) who mimed to Beatle records at the opening of the main hall. Pror to which we only had three classrooms. If abyone who remembers me wants to get in touch i enclose my email. Any information on any of the original group of nuns would be most welcome.
